Rainwater Harvesting
Rainwater is captured from the roof and brought to a central point, via normal guttering and down-pipes, to enter a storage tank where it is filtered on entry. A highly efficient and reliable submersible pump delivers the water to a service on demand. Where wished, or a special reason applies, delivery can be to a normal header tank instead.

The size of the storage tank is determined by considering the amount of water available for storage (a function of roof size and local average rainfall), and the amount of water likely to be used. There are lots of different ways of storing water, you can go with a system where the tank is placed above ground or buried below ground, and obviously the different sizes of the tanks differentiate for the different sizes of properties/projects.

Garden System:
Using recycled rainwater for garden irrigation is the most natural way to keep your garden looking beautiful all year round. Without a rainwater harvesting system, we use expensive drinking water to water our gardens.
The garden system uses simple filters, and supplies filtered rainwater via a pressure sensitive pump as required for garden irrigation, plus car washing and general cleaning, and has 100% water yeild. By using a pressure sensitive pump electricity consumption is kept to a minimum.

Home System:
Direct Feed: A direct feed system is ideal for developments of flats and apartments without a loft space or houses and developments which do not have the need for a header tank. The recycled rainwater is pumped from the tank and benefits from operating at the same pressure as mains water, to supply toilets, washing machines and garden hose pipes. There is an automatic top up feature which draws mains water into the tank, in the unlikely event that the tank runs dry.

Gravity Feed: This is an alternative system to the Developer's direct feed, which uses a header tank. Ideal for housing associations, or where there is a requirement for a header tank. The header tank has a mechanical mains top up which does not rely on power to operate, and switches automatically to mains water if the tank is low.
